Marie Noreger & Nedja

Marie Noreger is a 26-year-old Norwegian artist and singer/songwriter based in Oslo. She uses her lyrics to invite people into her world. She is described as an effortless and nonchalant singer with a delicate and distinct voice. Using layers of jazz, R&B, and pop, to name a few, Marie’s music is unique and entrancing. Several of Marie’s releases have been reviewed by recognized outlets such as Wonderland Magazine, Fame Magazine, Fizzy Mag, and a video premiere at CLASH Magazine. Locally in Norway, she has received reviews and play listings from national tastemaker radio NRK P3, the daily newspaper Aftenposten. In 2022 she was nominated for a Spellemann (the Norwegian Grammy award) in the «Soul/R&B» category.

Nedja is a 25-year-old Norwegian-Tunisian singer/songwriter/producer based in Oslo. Her sound is a merge of R&B and electro. She was selected as one of the participants representing Norway in the Keychange program (an international organization working for the equality and representation of women and non-binary people of colour in the music industry) in 2022. The same year she had the pleasure of producing a short sound clip for the first Global H&M Eid campaign. In August 2022, she played her first show abroad at Way Out West in Gothenburg, and as of now, Nedja is currently producing and writing her first solo EP.

Their first project, the EP “Lonely Dinosaur”, is the spontaneous baby that came to life when Marie Noreger asked Nedja to join the studio on a random Friday. Five sessions later, over two weeks, the EP was created in its complete form. The genuine connection between the musicians and being in the same headspace made a warm environment where the magic took place.
