About us

daWorks Records was established in the spring of 2000 and has since been one of Norway’s most successful small indies, focusing on popular music. The sister company, daWorks Music Publishing, was established in 2008. daWorks focuses on developing artists and songwriters in Norway for the Norwegian and international markets.

In 2020, with the label, publisher, and studio The Woods, daWorks started the label and music publisher Byrå Music. daWorks and The Woods also organise the international songwriting camps Song Farm in Sweden (since 2010), Bad Manors in the UK (since 2018) and Rena Song Fest in Norway (since 2024).
