Trygve Kongshavn

Trygve Kongshavn is a physician, musician and songwriter who has in recent years established himself as one of Norway’s most beloved creators of children’s music. He made his debut with the children’s album "For liten og for stor" in 2013, a family project produced together with his son Thomas Kongshavn, a renowned songwriter and producer for numerous artists, and a musical collaborator of Karpe.

 

Kongshavn had his breakthrough with the children’s song "Æsj, bæsj, promp og fis", which has been streamed more than 8 million times and received a platinum certification in Norway. The follow-up album "Verdens snilleste barn" was released in 2018, before he returned in 2023 with the Spellemann-nominated album "Klart det går an", featuring songs about imagination, creativity and believing in yourself. Through his music, Trygve Kongshavn combines warmth, humor and playful storytelling for the whole family.
