JOESTONE consists of the musician brothers Markus (24) og Daniel Gundersen (28) from Skien, Norway. Their father and namesake, Jostein, is a gospel choir leader and pianist, and has made sure the gospel sound is found in the very backbone of JOESTONE.

Drawing inspiration from various genres and newer production methods, Daniel and Markus have developed their expression with JOESTONE, moving away from their musical legacy – thereof the title of their debut album: Legacy.
